Bird Table
Description: Sit back and enjoy a spot of bird watching with this impressive fully controllable Network webcam. This particular live webcam enables you to interactively watch birds on and around the bird table from the comfort and warmth of your own home. The high quality camera allows you to zoom in an out to try and spot various species of birds. There is also an option to change the resolution of the live stream with 640x480 being the highest resolution available. Chosing this option will produce the highest quality image, however you may want to experiment with other settings for a faster, more responsive stream. Below are some examples which have been captured by the webcam. This amazing webcam enables you to view and spot your favourite species of birds as they arrive at the bird table. Control of the live stream is available immediately after the webcam has loaded by using the directional arrows to the left of the live image. It is a very simple and user-friendly control setup for this live webcam. There are 4 directional arrows which enable you to tilt the camera up and down as well as pan left and right. You can also use the scan arrows to automatically pan the camera up and down, or left and right. These functions are located just above the directional arrows. The captured image above shows a close up of some birds eating seeds from the feeding tube. It is evident from this example just how close up you can get to watch the birds in action. If you would like more information regarding the type of birds that visit the bird table then you could contact Derby College in the United Kingdom who are the owners of this impressive live stream. Keep in mind that this webcam is primarily for viewing during daylight hours, typically between 7am and 8pm GMT. It may also be useful to consult a profesional bird watcher to obtain more specific times for optimum viewing. There are four preset live webcams setting with this stream. These are found in the main control panel on the left and are labelled 1 to 4. The presets include Upper Left, Upper Right, Lower Left and Lower Right, and by clicking each number you will be taken to the desired position. This secondary live webcam enables you to view the kestrels nesting area and can also be launched here. It's not too clear from from the live stream exactly what is being used as the nesting area and as yet there have been no positive sightings of any kestrel. However, this makes any potential sighting even more rewarding.
